Kellie Ware

Assistant Dean for Professional Development

As Assistant Dean for Professional Development, Kellie oversees the office's day-to-day operations, counsels students, develops programming to enhance and increase students' professional acumen, and engages with employers across sectors.

Kellie received her BS in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. After working in community economic development as a tipstaff and starting her family, she earned her JD from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, earning concentrations in Poverty Law and Economic Justice, and Law and Development, and participating in the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Clinic.

Upon returning to Pittsburgh, Kellie worked as a staff attorney focusing on tenants’ rights at Neighborhood Legal Services. Ware was also the inaugural Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy Analyst for the City of Pittsburgh and was Executive Director of the NAACP’s Pittsburgh Branch. Kellie served as the Director of Community Partnerships and Sustainability at The Forbes Funds and as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Allegheny County Bar Association, where she helmed the Summer Clerkship Program. Her work with law students in this role sparked a passion for career counseling and professional development, which she brings with her, alongside deep legal and community ties to the PDO.

Megan Lovett

Assistant Dean of Public Interest

Megan develops and delivers effective career development counseling, educational programs, and targeted employer outreach in the public interest sector. In addition, Megan oversees the Office of Public Interest, which includes externships, pro bono projects, and the student volunteer recognition program. 

Emi Estelle 

Assistant Director, Small Firms, Business & Industry Initiatives

Emi brings diverse experiences and expertise to the team. Before joining Pitt Law, Emi worked in the Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement office, focusing on student and alumni programming and engagement at Panthers Forward. This unique initiative aimed to alleviate student debt and enhance student success among Pitt undergrads.

Having previously practiced immigration law, Emi transitioned into higher education to combine her legal background with a passion for academia. This combination of experiences gives Emi a distinct perspective and a valuable skill set in her new role.

Vikram Mangalmurti

Assistant Director, Mid to Large Law Firms Initiatives

Vik brings a unique and non-traditional career path to our organization. With a law and management consulting background, Vik's early professional experiences were with firms such as Deloitte and Oliver Wyman. However, he chose to transition into industry, where he held executive positions at Highmark, served as the CEO of a venture-funded start-up, and most recently led a complex clinical laboratory as its CEO.

Vik earned his JD from Stanford Law School and an MPH from Johns Hopkins. Before his legal and public health pursuits, he completed his undergraduate studies at George Washington University. Vik is deeply rooted in the local community and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. 

Maura Sullivan

Maura's professional background includes executive administrative support at Pittsburgh City Council, the Andy Warhol Museum, and the University of Pittsburgh Drug Discovery Institute. As the Professional Development Office Coordinator, she manages the administrative duties and assists with planning events and OCIs.
