Dean of Students

The Dean of Students supports Pitt Law students through academic and personal advising while fostering an inclusive, engaged community. The office provides guidance on curriculum planning, course registration, joint degrees, exams, tutoring, and academic integrity, and oversees Pitt Law Academy programs, Commencement, and student recognitions. The Dean also leads wellness initiatives and connects students with campus resources, including Disability Support Services.


Allie Linsenmeyer
Dean of Students

Dean Linsenmeyer brings extensive experience in higher education and student support. She began her career at George Mason University and joined Pitt Law in 2006 as Director of Admissions, where she helped shape incoming classes for more than a decade. She now works collaboratively across the law school to support students throughout their academic journey.

She earned her AB from the College of William and Mary, her MEd from The George Washington University, and is pursuing a doctorate in education at the University of Pittsburgh.
