Patrick R. Parsons

Associate Dean for Library and Technology, Director, Barco Law Library
Patrick Parsons is the Director of the Law Library and the Associate Dean for Library and Technology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  In his role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the law library and teaches classes on legal research, legal technology, AI,  and innovation.  
 
In his previous role, Patrick served as the Associate Director for Legal Technology & Innovation and Executive Director for the Legal Analytics & Innovation Initiative (LAII,) at the Georgia State College of Law Library.  In that role, he oversaw LAII programs, projects, and the Legal Analytics and Innovation certificate program. Alongside his work with LAII, Patrick also worked in the law library, providing reference and legal research instruction.
