Dan Glessner is an experienced healthcare corporate, regulatory, and compliance attorney. Currently a partner at the law firm of Roetzel & Andress in Akron, Ohio, he focuses his practice on a myriad of health care corporate issues including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, medical staff and licensure issues, physician employment agreements, contracts, Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payor audits and reimbursement issues, HIPAA, fraud and abuse, patient-related issues, regulatory compliance concerns, and various state law issues. Professor Glessner spent 17 years as in-house counsel with Akron General Medical Center, where he helped develop the health system's first compliance program, and has spent over 18 years in private practice counseling numerous clients on compliance issues and assisting with the development and operation of various compliance programs.
In addition to his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law, Professor Glessner has a Master's in Taxation from the University of Akron Business School and a Bachelor's in Finance from the University of Dayton.
