Krystin Pritchett (JD '16) Joins Pitt Law's Professional Development Office

The University of Pittsburgh School of Law is pleased to announce that Krystin Pritchett (JD '16) has joined the Professional Development Office.

Pritchett returns to Pitt Law after a successful career in risk management, compliance, and strategic operations. Most recently, she worked at Block, Inc., supporting product compliance for Cash App. She previously held positions with Fannie Mae and PNC Financial Services, where she partnered with cross-functional leaders to strengthen governance frameworks, improve operational processes, manage enterprise risk, and implement strategic initiatives in highly regulated environments.

As a Pitt Law alumna and former non-traditional student, Pritchett understands firsthand the demands of balancing law school with family responsibilities and the challenges of launching a legal career. Her professional background—spanning law, financial services, and technology—provides a unique perspective on the diverse opportunities available to today's law graduates.

In her role with the Professional Development Office, Pritchett will support students as they explore career pathways, develop professionally, and prepare for success in the legal profession and beyond.

"Returning to Pitt Law is both a professional milestone and a personal one," said Pritchett. "This institution helped shape my career, and I'm excited to give back by helping students recognize the many possibilities a legal education can create. I look forward to supporting them as they build confidence, develop professionally, and pursue careers that align with their goals."

“We’re ecstatic about having one of our own alums like Krystin return to and join us at Pitt Law,” said Dean Jerry Dickinson. She brings the kind of mentorship, knowledge, expertise, and judgment to help guide our students to post-graduate employment in Pittsburgh and across the country.”

Outside of work, Pritchett volunteers as a youth basketball coach and serves on the board of a youth soccer organization. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and cheering on her children from the sidelines of their sporting events.
