Pat Chew and AALS Activities

Professor of Law, Pat Chew, was involved in a number of activities at the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) annual meeting this past January in Washington D.C.  She was: (1) a speaker and a workshop leader for the "Workshop on the Ratings Game (or not): The Search for Sensible Assessment" (one of two plenary sessions),  (2) the moderator and a speaker for the program entitled "Subtle Sexism in Our Everyday Lives" (Women in Legal Education Section), and (3) a speaker for the program "Empiricism and Civil Rights Litigation in Practice"  (Section on Civil Rights).  As Chair of the Women in Legal Education Section, she also chaired the Section Business Meeting and the Section Breakfast Program.
