Externship Orientation Session January 2018
Students intending to seek EXTERNSHIP CREDIT for work during the spring term must attend this Orientation Program. Students will obtain information about the requirements of the program and learn about the professional expectations of their internship placements.
Students are eligible to obtain externship credits for working in unpaid positions doing legal work, supervised by an attorney, at a public interest employer (ex. working with non-profits, judges, government, legal aid organizations, etc.).
If you are interested in participating in the Externship Program and you have not already done so, please enroll by completing the online form found on PittLawWorks. To access the online form, select the "Experiential Learning" link located at the bottom of the menu located to the left of the screen, and click on the "+New Opportunity" button. Please be sure to do so prior to attending the Externship Orientation Session. You are not enrolled in the program and are not eligible for credits until you have completed this step.
If you are unable to attend and would like the benefit of the information, please notify Rochelle R. McCain or Prof. Elena Baylis.
This event requires an RSVP via PittLawWorks.
